About
Sleeping Out at the Abbey for a night does not come close to the experiences of a rough sleeper, but we'd like to do our bit for people in our local area. We'll be raising vital funds to ensure two local charities can continue to support people rough sleeping or living in vulnerable accommodation.
Wintercomfort is a day centre creating opportunities all year round for homeless individuals. Since 1991, Wintercomfort has supported people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home in Cambridge. They provide practical welfare support, counselling, advice, training and opportunities to help bring long lasting, positive change to the lives of the most vulnerable within our community.
Cambridge United Foundation use the power of sport and the brand of Cambridge United FC to empower our community and change lives. Money raised from this Sleepout supports their Youth Work Programmes. They work daily with the most vulnerable young people aiming to inspire them to fulfil their potential and in so doing reduce levels of homelessness in our amazing city.
